Embarking on its thirteenth year, Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrates the start...
Hello, I’m Reggie and I’m the voice of local food. That's because I’m your voice. When you Reggie-ster (sorry) on this site, you will be able to get involved in helping promote and share what's great and sometimes, what's not so great about the food that's produced and sold around you. And, by shopping locally, with local suppliers you will also help the local economy.
The food was excellent, everyone has stopped by to me know that the caterer was perfect. I'd like to add that the service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
This is just what Worcester town needs - i love the little one at the library but this is even better... the staff are friendly and helpful in a natural way and the food is delicious and fresh -I won't be going to any of the local overpriced packaged sandwich cafes from now on!!
We were really let down by this company. Our meat order was placed with this company well in advance of Christmas and we received the usual confirmation email. Further to then placing a call to the office we were told that we would receive delivery of our order on Christmas eve. On 23rd December they sent an email saying they wouldnt have time to deliver to us after-all and would refund our order. They signed off their email with a sorry mate. The whole tone lacked professionalism and any sense of having let down a customer. We've tried to contact them several times since and have yet to speak to anyone or receive the promised refund. Needless to say we wont be using them again and we wont be recommending them either. Avoid.
Fantastic dairy free chocolates - made to make you feel like you are getting something special - great gifts for the vegan, or dairy free, or coeliac in your family.
This company sells at our local farmers market and since trying their sausages and bacon 5 years ago, we now do not purchase from anyone else. The bacon is thicker cut than that awful foreign product sold in the supermarkets, and the taste is superb. They also use natural skins on their sausages, and the flavours offered are fantastic. Any other sausages purchased since, even those recommended to us, from another local supplier, just haven't hit the mark.
I do not know the owners or have anyone I know employed by them.
It was lovely to see all the animals enjoying the freedom of being out and about. I'm convinced it's this natural way of life that gave the pork we purchased it's outstanding flavour. Just like pork used to be. We'll certainly be back for more. Tallowbrook 3.12.09
This smallholding produces some of the best pork i have ever tasted BUT by far are the SAUSAGES these are to die for they are the best ever you always have to cook extra so you can eat the rest cold
The egg's are a brilliant yellow when you break them the goose it full of superb flavour
as are the chicken's
And no doubt the lamb will be as excellent as all the rest of what they produce
the welfare of all the animals to top notch all are attended with care and attention second to none
I love going there to see what Allison and Rob are going to do next !!!!!!!!!!
I've had pork, chicken, eggs and goose from here and they are all wonderful, but the best by far are the sausages!!!!!! You want to just eat more and more of them. I've visited the smallholding and it really is a small family business that Rob and Allison love. I would recommend there produce to anyone and everyone and I keep going back for more! (lambs are next!)
You would think in this economic climate any company would be glad of some extra business......so i find surprising that i had to phone many times to place an order and they still did'nt bother to show up.
Really bad experience.....not good at all...bad service bad everything.
