Hello, I’m Reggie and I’m the voice of local food. That's because I’m your voice. When you Reggie-ster (sorry) on this site, you will be able to get involved in helping promote and share what's great and sometimes, what's not so great about the food that's produced and sold around you. And, by shopping locally, with local suppliers you will also help the local economy.

I became aware of The Organic Pantry through LivingSocial and I must say my shopping experience with them was all about disappointment. Their produce is not fresh, in fact 2 times out of 3 deliveries the broccolis were going all soft and yellow, cauliflowers with black spots and mini cucumbers half rotten! The worse thing is instead of acknowledging their mistake, they accuse you of not keeping the vegetables in the fridge properly. I sent them a picture of the cucumber they sent to me within the same day of receiving it (it had white furry mould growing on it) and they still didn't take any responsibility! Instead they patronised me about the short lifespan of organic produce and told me they didn't want to do any more business with me. As if I wanted to continue buying my vegetables from them! :)) So, I say AVOID them at all costs!

Bought a dozen of their Duck eggs from Canvey Island Market recently. Excellent quality with lovely creamy taste.
Hoping market will become regular and they will attend so I can buy regularly.

This was a great shop, but unfortunately it closed a couple of years ago. As far as I know, they are still doing deliveries, but the shop in Ammanford is gone.

We used Hampshire Hog for our wedding in our garden in April 2010. What a fantastic service!!! They set up whilst we were at the wedding, and by the time us and all our guests arrived back to the house, were waiting for us for when we wanted to eat. The food was amazing, not only did it look fantastic to see the whole hog, it tasted amazing and the crackling was the best everyone had ever tasted!! Thank you once again Andy, would not hesitate to use you again and recommend you to our friends. Tracy, Fareham.

Kyffin is an excellent place to be - the cappucino is the best around, the cakes are gorgeous and the vegetarian meals are so nourishing and tasty that rampantly carnivorous friends have enthused & become regular customers. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor is tasteful, interesting and quirky, and the overall feel is intimate and cosy. The deli items for sale are lovely too, and make it an ideal stop when gift-shopping. All in all, I love Kyffin and go back time and again.

Jaxsons Deli is a really great cheese shop. It keeps french cheeses but often there is a local or west country equivalent which is even better and they sell it. Also look out for their baked cakes which are really unusual. Why buy things from abroard when the local choice is so great?
