Hello, I’m Reggie and I’m the voice of local food. That's because I’m your voice. When you Reggie-ster (sorry) on this site, you will be able to get involved in helping promote and share what's great and sometimes, what's not so great about the food that's produced and sold around you. And, by shopping locally, with local suppliers you will also help the local economy.

Really can not praise this company enough. Always supplying excellent fresh seasonal organic produce. We live on the Fylde coast and our delivery driver David is very helpful and polite each time he delivers. Their boxes offer variety that is very affordable for Organic produce much cheaper than the supermarkets. We used to grow our own veg but we have found that by using Riverford its like having an allotment without all the hard work.

I have used Riverford for over a year now and the veg is excellent. I'll never buy supermarket veg again!! The delivery driver is helpful, friendly, approachable and most importantly reliable, boxes are always delivered on time, cost is very reasonable and they supply a wide range of products, I would recommend them to anyone.

A great restaurant on the foothills of the Quantocks selling top quality local produce. Beautiful food in a beautiful setting - what more can you want?

A wonderful find, I now do all of my food shopping here and it has turned the weekend drag around a supermarket to a treat. There is a Saturday morning Farmers market on site and then I enjoy a great coffee in Macknade and a slice of cake before browsing around the amazing choice of food and drink. The cheeses and cold meats are the best selection in Kent (in my humble opinion) but the variety of food is stunning. We probably spend the same as in a supermarket overall but we get so much better quality. My only regret is that I didn't find this place sooner. Calling all foodies, try this place.

Great local restaurant with tons of ambiance and a great location. They try and source their food locally and produce some great plates of food. Some of the food can be fussy with fusion elements. I would prefer if they kept it simple but it is still a great place to dine.

Love the veg boxes from this site - great newsletter each week in the box with recipe ideas. Normally I get a box on a Monday but sometimes get the Sunday roast box as so much better than the supermarket and so convenient having it delivered to the house. So many different veg so is great value for money. Will definitely keep ordering regularly.

This is the ultimate in local food in the Somerset levels.... eel. Unfortunately so rare now due to environmental changes. Do seek this place out and try the smoked eel and buy lots. I loved their smoked eel which you have at their restaurant open for lunch. Try the eel with horseradish sauce.

And if you do not fancy some smoked eel - why not try smoked salmon, mackerel, cheese or pork amongst others.

But really try it for a unique taste of Somerset and try the eels.... don't let them all go to Japan or Spain or whereever they go!

Great range of produce from bread (though I never get there in time to try some), to meats and dairy products. They even sell ecover! It is a drop-off point for Merricks Organic veg boxes. Great that it sells the wonderful Sheppys' Cider - the best local produce around.

The meat from Kielder Organics is truly exceptional. Their sausages are probably the best I've ever tasted and the rest of the products are excellent too. I visit their stall at Hexham Farmers market and the people manning the stall are always very friendly and helpful. Have visited the farm too and it's lovely to see animals that are so well cared for. These people are true 'food heroes'!

I’m a member of the Swillington Organic Farm CSA where we pick up our veg weekly in the walled garden. The variety of veg is amazing, the taste absolutely wonderful, and quantity in a full share is enough to see this mainly veggie family through the week. A full share routinely works out at about £5-8 per week less than if buying the same organic veg in supermarket. The growers and volunteers are very friendly/helpful!
