Soul Deli is a great place to go for lunch or a special evening meal. The food is seasonally and locally sourced and the chefs make everything on the premises. The atmosphere is informal but at the same time it feels like a treat to be there. My partner and I often stop in for lunch when out in Derby - even the simple sandwiches are delicious! As well as serving food, there is also a Deli counter and shop area, which sells local cheeses as well as cooked meats and other treats.

We had our first organic vegetable and fruit box delivered to our house last week. The selection was great, as were the prices. We spent £20 on a medium box of fruit and vegetables, with an extra salad selection, and 2 pints of milk. The price was equivalent to what we'd spend in Sainsburys except everything was organic, and much much more environmentally friendly - no drive to the supermarket for one. The delivery also came with a useful reference book, with recipe suggestions for any of the vegetables received and information about the company.
