I have just started with Abel & Cole and am very pleased with the service and quality of produce. Prompt delivery and excellent website for managing my account.
On food alone i'd rate as excellent but on a recent visit it was a little slow to come and the atmosphere and service could be improved. That said, the Longhorn salt beef was a dream. Absolutely delicious - It's a tough venue to provide with an atmosphere as an ex bank - but I think & hope this one will succeed and I would certainly recommend as an experience as the attention to seasonal and local produce is second to none in Brighton & Hove - just a few tweaks needed here and there but a great start in general for what has always been a very tough plot for restaurants.
Often pop in for a quick snack when passing but not tried the treatments yet. Nice salad bar and very good, often homemade food on offer. Beats most of the other choices around and is genuinely unique.
every Wednesday morning between 10am and 12pm on Gilbert's Drive, Beachy Head, East Dean. Great market. Produce available includes: Lamb, Organic beef, pork,pies and ready meals, cheeses, vegetables,bread,cakes,wine,chutneys, honey, flowers, plants and a variety of crafts.
The best restaurant in Brighton and some of the best meals i've ever eaten. Local produce is sourced where possible from the surrounding sussex farms and the herbs are picked from the restaurant’s own herb garden on the delightful summer terrace.
