I had a veg box from Butterby for nearly a year and it was consistently excellent - they also provide eggs, milk, honey and the most delicious butter I've ever had (from Acorn dairly). A lovely, friendly service and reasonably priced

I can't recommend Broom House Farm highly enough; their meat is always excellent and properly hung, cut and prepared as you wish by the helpful and knowledgable staff! I always buy "special occasion" cuts from them - they even provided the meat for my wedding - but their cheaper cuts are also excellent (I get through a lot of their minced mutton) and the sausages are so good I have to take them to friends all over the country!

I've just left Durham for Pinner and am going to miss them no end...now, can anyone down here recommend a good butcher.....??!
