A fabulous deli run by Nicki Hillman packed with produce made in the shop, such as vegetable flips (small pasties) and baklava, produce made locally and Fairtrade produce. The cheeses are divine and what Nicki doesn't know about cheese isn't worth knowing. She stocks local and non-local types. Highlights: Devon Rustic cheese, on premises made pesto sauce and roasted artichokes, hand-made chocolates. Yum!

Fabulous farm shop close to where I live. Suitable for weekly shop or for special gifts. Lots of local produce and produce grown/reared on White Row Farm, such as pork, chicken, eggs and various vegetables. Take your little ones so that they can look at the pigs and piglets. Also has a smashing cafe and small garden centre. Highlights: any of their own pork products, Marshfield (Bath) ice cream, River Cottage 'on the bottom' yoghurts, locally made meringue nests. Delicious!
