This newly opened restaurant must be one of the best in the area. A beautifully re-furbished chapel, which successfully marries the ecclesiastical with the contemporary, it combines style with comfort and excellent food. The interior is fantastic - cool, uncluttered, yet relaxed and welcoming. There was short and well-balanced menu, and not one dish disappointed. The service was exemplary and we had a great evening.
The words `Health Food Shop' don't really do this shop justice. It is an aladdin's cave of all the most fantastic organic and environmentally friendly sustenance one could wish for. Fresh organic fruit & veg, dairy & other products, as well as all sorts of organic larder staples & more exotic items. Also a huge range of toiletries (soap UNWRAPPED, hurrah), herbal medicines, vitamins etc. But best of all (to my mind) is the re-fill station. You can re-fill all your liquid ecover bottles (laundry, washing up etc) plus shampoos & conditioner. No excuse ever to buy another plastic bottle again. Beautifully laid out, spacious, friendly staff who know their stuff - a real gem of a shop. Everyone who can should go & see it.
