I am so lucky I moved to Ringwood, it saved me from a life of boring lager! I love to fact that you can buy a range of beers made according to the seasons so as one ends another new or old favourite begins. You can buy 4½ pints for around £5 – that half price! But BE WARNED – they shut at midday on Saturdays.

Ringwood has quite a few restaurants, but without a doubt I would rate Plummers as the best. The menu is exactly what a bistro should have – seasonal fresh and usually local ingredients with only three or four options available, all of which are exquisite. We have been there for intimate quite meals, jovial group meals and popped in for brunch and I have never been disappointed.
If you want excellent local fresh food cooked exceedingly well with a nice wine, well priced and in a pleasant atmosphere, Plummers is your place to go. I only wish I had more babysitters.

I went for the Friday Spa and meal evening. I have to say the whole experience was excellent. Even sat eating equisite food looking at lots of people with 'Spa hair' - excellently turned out with wild oil treated hair - funy as you like! An evening I would happiily repeat due to the excellent food and hospitality.

I have been fortunate enough to try Loosehanger cheeses at farmers markets, and have to say it is supurb. I have alway been a fan of Blue Vinney but the Old Sarum and Woodfalls range is truly sublime.

I have bought several batches of chickens from Foxfields over the years and often take friends up there who are amazed at how much advice and care they are offered. Brilliant set up with lots for the beginner or established backyarder.
