Local free range chickens and eggs laid to music. Free range beef and lamb from Scotland, this is a fantastic traditional butchers. They are always helpful and friendly, and stock local butter and cheese, along with seasonal wild rabbits. Very very tasty, I wouldn´t buy meat from anywhere else!

Thier veg box deliveries are fantastic, groaning full and beautifully presented. The produce can only be compared to what I´ve seen at French markets- fantastically fresh, colourful, unusual and a good mix of local seasonal and interesting. The cafe does get crazy busy at peak periods. Head there for a nice cuppa and a slice of very special cake.

big comfy sofas and a nice local pint are the reason for heading there of an evening, and big patio garden with lots of tables, big protions and the exitement of the trains stopping at the station over the wall are the reasons to head there for a nice lunch with the smalls.
