Amazing restaurant near Spitalfields Market specialising in simple, 'nose to tail' eating. Really great ingredients, simply prepared to offer the most joyful eating. Wonderful surroundings and excellent staff combine to make it an unmissable treat.
Wonderful gastro pub just outside of Leeds city centre. Using local suppliers and specialising in classics, long lost dishes and more interesting cuts of meat! Concentrating on a REAL British menu, not 'modern British' seen in every pub across the country. Offering great innovative options, such as the Sunday 'feasting' menu where you can share such meals as a whole leg of lamb with friends! Set in a beautiful building with a quiet courtyard in the sun, nowhere like it in Leeds.
Great organic restaurant registered with The Soil Association. On a recent trip we had delicious black pudding bread, a very good ham hock terrine and luscious lemon possets. Only the pigeon (a little over cooked) was not exceptional. The service was absolutely second to none, wonderfully accommodating staff, not at all phased by the children causing havoc! Highly recommended.
A fantastic veggie cafe above a neat little health food shop on the high street in Skipton. Often packed on a weekend with people queuing down the stairs! The dishes here are great value, and the menu changes regularly, keeping both boredom and hunger at bay! Tasty salads on the sides of main dishes too. Staff in the cafe are very friendly and service is good. Highly recommended!
