We have had our vegbox delivered for about 18 months now and the produce and service is always good. Each delivery is accompanied by a list which tells you where each item has come from - in the winter months some items come from further afield, but the where possible we have had has been sourced in UK (with exception of bananas of course). Although you cannot choose your vegetables, we enjoy the weekly surprise of what will be included.

We also get our Acorn Dairy organic milk and butter with our delivery. They also now have fruit boxes too.

A very friendly, family run, well stocked farm shop selling homebred pork, bacon, gammon alongside other local meat, dairy produce and vegetables. They also have a selection of store cuboard ingredients like pasta and pulses and locally made cakes and bread. Their homemade pork pies are delicious but you have to get there early to get them.
The bacon is smoked or dry cured and they have a great selection of 'gourmet' sausages. They also supply Rick Stein Recommended whole chickens which are full of flavour.
The tearoom serves homemade sweet and savoury dishes.

I can highly recommend Broom House Farm. The quality of the meat is exceptional and the staff are helpful and friendly. If there is a particular cut of meat not display you only have to ask and they will prepare it for you. The mutton is also great when it is available. They also have a great selection of cookery books which you are free to browse through to get ideas for recipes.
There is a recently opened 'log cabin' coffee shop on the site which serves homemade dishes in peaceful surroundings.

Delicious ice cream in fab flavours - can recommend the hokey pokey and raspberry pavlova. Can eat in the parlour, which also serves teas, coffees and homemade cakes (which has a warm fire for the winter months) or take a tub ot two home. Access to lovley countryside with the farm walks and bike trail.
