had a nice lunch there last week - the canteen area is a fantastic bright big space, open planned and with a very warm, friendly atmos. recommend the veal burger - nice.

try their sausage rolls. also their pork (reared there on the farm) is always good.

you can buy River Cottage soups and yoghurts there too.

Excellent place. the best pork and freerange chickens about. well worth the drive for us!

I gave up waiting in the 1 hour long queue!

We then manage to have the worst meal we've ever had in some other non RS venue - Padstow seems to have some of the worst restaurants in any supposed 'foodie' town i've ever been to - is this because no one is properly competing with the RS Empire? That's the way it came across - shame. Next time I visit (if ever) will get on the ferry across and go to Grumpy's!

Does not seem fair to rate RS on this, but it does seem a bit odd.... The RS Soft Furnishing shop was interesting!

great butchers in the centre of axminster - probably the best high street in the area.

I've been to this place a few times, they have a good meat counter but far too many freezers for my liking. Shame, as their in the prime fresh food country!

I'm going there this summer for a weekend, will pop in! went to Padstow last year and gave up with the 2 hour waiting in line for some battered £10 fish from Sir Steine's!

I often buy their meat and produce, it's really good and always very very tasty. mmm
