Millets Farm is an excellent place to take the kids. Good quality produce and pick your own is great. In the late summer they also have a maze. The meat is locally reared and butchered according to their butchery dept. They also have a fantastic bakery supplying onion bread, granary bread, cakes, biscuits, pies and pasties. The garden centre is a little gem though some items are expensive you often find something unusual which isn't to badly priced. Usually they have a fantastic christmas section too. Can't wait for this year to see what I can add to my christmas decorations. I think they started the Christmas decorations about two weeks ago.
Only downside is that they have now added items in the play area that you have to pay for i.e tractors and I believe diggers to which is fine if you don't have 3 boys who want to go on all of them. could cost £6.00 before you have even started.
Fantastic Farm Shop. Butchers section is fantastic as being Vegetarian I don't like to have to handle the meat too much so they will always prepare the meat for me so that it is ready just to be put into the oven. I don't mind cooking eat for others to eat just can't bear to eat it myself.
The veg is also top quality and cakes and puddings are fantastic too.
