A super market that really promotes local produce from within its catchment area. It only happens 4 times a year and is organised by the Chamber of Commerce. The last one was exceptionally busy and it was nice to see that the organisers had operated a strict policy of limiting the number of similar lines sold, so that the producers there could all trade successfully. Looking forward to the next one!
A wonderful array of chunties and preserves which I tasted for the first time this weekend. Heather's Spiced Carrot & Garlic Chutney was the one that did it for me.
