The Real Olive Company also run The Olive Shed - A restaurant on the floating harbour where I have never been (which is strange seing as I lived about 200 yards down the harbour for 12 months?!)

Anyway, they have a small outlet in St Nicks market and I understand they no have an outlet on Gloucester Road.

These olives are the best I have ever tasted, infused with this, soaked in that - Wonderful. They also sell stuff like vine leaves, these wild mushrooms in oil, roasted peppers etc.

Not cheap by any stretch but certainly worth a splurge when entertaining some VIP's .... or when you fancy being a little self indulgent. :-)

What is it with Butchers? You'd think cutting up bloody flesh all day they'd be well, a little bit grumpy. This is certainly not the case here. There is always some sort of banter going on! It's a hoot!

The meat is fantastic and they always have such a huge range on display not to mention the wide range of pickles, chutneys, vinegars, oils, and sauces.

The great thing is they also have a deli which sells olives, cheeses, chiorizo, salami, tapas sort of stuff - The place is wonderful!

They always used to sell there own BBQ'd burgers on a saturday which were £1.50 - a bargain! Not sure if they still do but it's one of the best butchers in Bristol by far.

Fantastic place - and oh so cheap. Great for students and familys on a budget especially!

They sell cereals, grains, pasta, flour, sugar, dried fruits and those yummy japanese rice crackers by the scoop. (and more --- WAY more!) It is ridiculously cheap and I strongly suggest if you live nearby to check it out.

it has a real co-operative feel to it. They also sell a whole bunch of soya, tofu, organic, health food and vitamins.

A wonderful little place, I just wish I didn't move into the burbs. It's a little too far to for to travel now.

Nice little deli located in the uber trendy area that is Southville. Lots of Mum's with 3 wheeled buggys often block the entrance as it has a nice little seated area outside - not that you'll ever see an empty table with all those Yummy Mummies floating around on North Street.

Anyway, it's a pleasant deli, Nice selection of bread, meats, cheese etc. I can't really write much else. Everything you would expect from a deli but it doesn't over acheive. I feel like the customer service lacks a bit - The people that work in there aren't very knowledgeable or friendly. It's an okay place.

I bought a whole load of these guys tea from Fresh & Wild and the tea is superb. It is definately one of the best herbal teas I have ever tasted and not tannic like some you can try.

The great thing about Pukka apart from it actually being a local company is that the herbs are ecologically grown and are from sustainable managed projects that are organically certified by the Soil Association along with a whole load of other cool stuff.

Might I reccomend the LOVE tea. Al the teas have cool names and the packaging looks very fabulous in on my work surface. Who said Tea couldn't be glamourous!

Wonderful atmoshphere in this purple foodie pleasuredome!

As for vegetarians breakfasts - they don't get any better than this place. It's one of those places that not very many people know about, and now thanks to my big mouth and posting on here, everyones going to know about it!

Don't you lot go spoiling this place - It WAS my little secret.

Boston Tea Party - BRISTOL:

An absolutely wonderful cafe Park Street & Whiteladies Rd. (The Whiteladies Rd outlet is new and a lot more slick looking). The Park St branch is somewhat more Boho.

I remember whiling away the hours in here whist studying, sat upstairs on the old battered sofas - It had a wonderful fuzzy atmosphere, I don;t like the Park St upstairs so much mow, lots of Wodden tables give it a more classroom sort of feel unfortunately. The courtyard garden area is lovely and a nice little suntrap on a lazy summer lunchtime.

The sandwhiches/wraps are to die for, one think I sorely miss about working in Bristol Centre. The Duck wrap also the Fete wrap are the best, the cakes are awesome, good coffee - sometimes the servers look like they could do with a scrpae and a bath but what do you expect. It's not starbucks! I do feel like there are always way too many staff about, loitering talking to each other like its some sort of social gathering and the service is sometimes too leisurely.

I rate this place good on the basis of the food and cakes being so super - however the staff need a good shake. If the staff were as welcoming and albeit "cheesey" as starbucks then it would make this place excellent.

They can quibble about it being ethical and embracing peoples differences - but Startbucks is what it is becuase the staff (the world over) look good, are polite and look smart and proffesssional. If I want to see displays of individualism - i'd go to an art gallery.

I have bought fish from the Fishworks in Bristol a number of times and am always happy with the service and quality/freshness of the fish. They have a wide seasonal selection and it always gives me a warm feeling to see things like Dartmouth and River Exe on the chalkboards rather that far flung locations. I know the fish/shellfish i'm buying form there is going to have beeen caught that moring or the day before - and that's what you want from a fishmonger.

A lovely little farm shop full of delights. It's a shame I am "city folk" and rarely make it that far out of town - but when I do...... !!! A quintessential farm shop!

Fantastic food hall with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, fresh fruits & vegetables, soups, pastas, rice... everything you could want from an Organic food hall!

This is the largest and best organic/health food/whole food place to shop in the city!

There is nothing I like more that buying some of there fresh bread, great cheeses, wonderful wines and sitting in with my fiance for an evening of pure indulgence.

An organically orgasmic experience!
