i love this shop.... in fact my boyfriend has even given it a nickname "the deli on the squelly"! a real foodie paradise - great for browsing, finding ingredients you haven't heard of, or that odd ingredient that you have seen used on the tv that you haven't heard of before. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are great too - when my mum visits from Devon we have to raid the shelves in the shop as they have a fantastic range of preserves and other condiments that are a good 10% cheaper . This is a lovely shop full of character and great quality local and international items. Hey who needs a french town when we have ludlow!

The joys of living in ludlow... great quality butchers.... and happy to do the messy preparation bits that i haven't got a clue how to do myself. With the sad closure of Carters in Autumn 2007 it was a great relief to see the Ludlow sausage recipe find a new home at Walls (plus some of the friendly butchers from Carters too!). Get here early as the queue of older local ladies tells you this is a place where good quality and good value come together... not always too sure about the singing... but a singing butcher is a happy one

i love this farm shop... the greatest advert to me are the flocks of beautiful brown hens in the field that i see every day when i pass on the way to work... and from these come the most fantastic yellow yoked eggs ever... and huge yolks too! I get accused of using colourings in my quiche when i make it with Strefford Hall hens eggs! The range of fresh meat is good, butchered on site - so if you want a certain size or cut there is no problem. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff... and they stock September organics ice cream... what more do i need to say... great quality and reasonable prices -
