The quality of meat is brilliant and affordable with friendly staff who are always helpful and accommodating. Their freshly roasted chickens are enough to grab you off the pavement, then once inside you're tempted by cheese, pate, cold meats and pies etc. I gem in on the Minehead high street.

The food at this pub is excellent. The meat is suppled by the owner, a local butcher, and the chef is a genius with steak. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. The Exmoor venue is beautiful and the atmostphere friendly and welcoming.

Worth a visit if you love tasty, local food and can afford a treat.
