Le Pain Quotidien is a chain of restaurants which started life in France serving Breakfast and snacks, has now moved to London and serves a great variety of meals, while continuing with their 'tartines' which are similar to open sandwiches but on delicious bread and a huge selection of fillings. Much of their produce is organic. Their main courses, salads and desserts are all first class and you can also share platters which are delicious. Wines are at reasonable prices, also served by the glass. Cheerful service. You can also buy their bread and jams, chocolate sauces, etc at the counter.

St John has consistently been a great place to eat. The chef uses all edible parts of the animal and creates beautiful, imaginative meals. The bread is baked in their own bakery (an we always buy some when we eat there). The wine list is extensive and not overpriced. They also have their own wine shop where you can buy all their wines. Service is friendly and helpful. A busy restaurant, so book in advance.
