I was delighted to find this small but perfectly formed little shop in my new area. The meat is properly cut up to your requirements, and is of the very best quality and therefore flavour. If its not on display just ask. Its great to see someone who really knows how to cut meat properly! There's no shattered or gritty bone pieces, and the fat is trimmed to a nicely judged ratio. I've tried the amazing Orkney beef, some lamb chops and pork sausages, as well as some of the many quality deli items. There is also a selection of seasonal fruit and veg, including red currents and gooseberries this week, some of which are sourced from local gardens, as well as delicious preserves. The Seville marmalade is as good as my own, and mine is good!
The service is attentive and dignified, be prepared to wait your turn, but its worth it!
