i've have eaten there (never stayed in the hotel) on a number of occasions, right in the middle of Bridport. All the ingredients are local and more often than not, organic. They also do a £10 lunch menu in the day mid-week.
We had lunch there on Saturday - it was delicious, affordable and very friendly - produce was local - the seafood was excellent! A definite lunchtime stop if, like us, your kids make you visit Mousehole to find Mowser! (which we did!)
Brilliant high street butchers, great selection, all says where it comes from and all local. Friendly staff and always happy to offer advice and suggestions. Meat is always excellent quality. (plus they have a shop which opens on Sundays!
When i lived in Brighton we used to get our organic meat from here, it's excellent and the owners are lovely. probably the best butchers in brighton, certainly only one of the few remaining.
Pretty good! the shop looks great and there's a great cafe / bistro at the back. All is on view - if you're a River Cottage fan then you won't be disappointed.
All the produce looks excellent and all clearly marked with it's producer, sourcing.
Bills is a great big food hall in the middle of brighton. It's always full to the brim with people. There's a load of produce to buy at the front - fruit and veg - it all looks great, but looking closer at it, I think they could embrace seasonality a little more, (as well as local).
Their food is good, tasty and original. It's well worth a visit if in Brighton. breakfast is especially good.
