The meat comes frozen, and well insulated (in a box with a fleece at insulation), so even if you are out at work you can have it delivered. Just pop it in the freezer and defrost when needed. The meat is amongst the best I have ever tasted. The lamb chops and rump steak need absolutely no sauce, just a little salt and pepper (and I like a sprinkle of thyme on my lamb chops) and a hot pan. You will not be disappointed.

There is a delivery charge, so it pays to get a box, or a large order of individual cuts (but you can always get yours and a friends orders delivered to one address and split the p&p).

As well as the meat you wil get a little note saying which farm the meat has come from which is nice. Part of the appeal of the box is supporting the farmers who help to keep the Peak District looking the way it does.

A very good service and very well priced. The produce is always good. And if you want more of a contection with your food there are weekly newsletters and an online blog so you know what is happening on the farm.
The packaging is also a plus point. Boxes are re-usable and wax coated (or something similar) so they don't go soggy as quickly. Also the vast majority of other packaging is recyclable or compostable.
I haven't any complaints about the veg, it is always tastey. I haven't bought anything else from them so can't comment.

I get the food miles veg box, which means all the produce comes from the UK, and where possible as close to Sheffield as possible. Many items are from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The produce is always good (I have had one poor batch of potatoes in over 6 months, and they we're happy to give me some money off my next box as compensation, so very good going).
The food miles box can be repetitive in the winter, but other boxes are available. Fruit is also available, as well as other sundries (although I have never had any extras).
All in all a good standard of food, and the people are nice and friendly.
