Paul Kenyon took over this Butchers from a long establish business run by well known elderly chaps, due to retire. He has made a huge effort to advertise the business and has branched out stocking free range eggs and chicken, various offal which is hard to find, obscure cuts like lamb shank, rabbit etc and a selection of cold meats, not to mention an assortment of condiments which come in handy. All meat is sensibly priced and free range birds can be ordered for Christmas.

This is a working farm which does B&B etc. However I chanced upon their meat boxes from the sign advertising Aberdeen Angus Beef - in Devon! He sells it in 1/8 boxes but I share one with someone else and have 1/16 beef box twice a year in winter and Autumn. In summer I have 1/2 lamb box. Mr Dallyn is very amenable and phones to arrange delivery. The meat is locally bred and reared, locally butchered, so no food miles. They are fed grass based diets and the meat is fantastic. Competitively priced and delivered, who can argue with that. I am waiting for my lamb box!
