This is by far the best butcher I've found in the area. They operate as a traditional butcher with lots of added extras like cheeses, sauces, eggs and cooked foods. The shops is very very clean, and the staff are really friendly with lots of tips and advice if you need it.

We try to source all our meat from here, even if it means driving past our local butcher.

We've been using Riverford for veg box deliveries for the last few months and I'm VERY impressed with their service. The boxes are varied and good sizes. The list of extras is great too - we usually add some extra bits and pieces in. They always deliver right where I ask them to, and because we have a very early delivery slot it's good we don't need to be in to accept it.

I've only ever had one complaint and the customer service I received was fabulous with lots of added extras the following week. They couldn't have been more apologetic.

All in all I'd heartily recommend them. It feels good to know you're buying locally and bypassing the large supermarkets, and their carrots can't be beaten for taste.
