Whenever we visit Gower we stop off at Howell's to stock up with their Saltmarsh Lamb (when in season) and their Welsh Black Beef - both of which are the best we've ever tasted. What's more the prices are very reasonable for such high quality meat. We particulary like the fact that the beef is 100% traceable - the details of the carcass being sold at any particular time is posted on the counter. As far as I'm aware, all of their meat and poultry is free range.
