Cliftonville Farmers Market was established in 2001 by The Cliftonville Residents Association and is run entirely by volunteers.
Cliftonville Farmers Market has now been voted 'Best Farmers Market in Kent' 2006, 2007 and 2008, sponsored by Produced in Kent, Kent Life and BBC Radio Kent. We were so proud to receive this Award again, voted for by our customers.
The Market is located on the cliff top, with wonderful sea views and surrounds the newly refurbished Bandstand. If you are feeling energetic after the Market there are some great cliff top walks and sandy beaches. We are wheelchair friendly and parking is a mere 15yds away. There are public toilets on site.
Our producers sell meat, speciality pies, seasonal fruit and veg, cheese, bread, eggs, cakes, fudge, honey, vegetarian and vegan products, chutney and preserves, wild game, plants, gourmet fish cakes and more. Turn Sunday shopping into a good day out!
Recently featured in, 'The Independents' Newspaper magazine 'The Information.'

Quex Park is passionate about Kent produce ! As producers of their own meats and some veg, they've opened Quex Barn Farmers Market as an outlet to celebrate what Kent has to offer and to show the public how to link back up with where their food comes from ! Quex Barn offers a Butchery, Fish Monger, Cafe, Restaurant, Fruit and Veg, Fresh bread and a huge variety of Kent produces; jams, honeys etc. Delicious cakes & scones available in the cafe, Fairtrade drinks available too. Lovely gifts. A variety of oils; take your own bottle for the oil re-filling service.

I've used The Chai Stop twice & have been very impressed with the whole experience. The staff are friendly & helpful & they produce the most delicious indian frozen ready meals, which are genuinely homemade on the premises. The curries, each with their own blend of unique herbs & spices, are cooked in small batches & frozen. All fresh ingredients are locally produced, organic wherever possible & the meat is from happy outdoor reared animals & the aim is to also be as environmentally friendly as possible. All food is preservative, additive & wheat-free. The perfect "convenience food", healthy, delicious & great to have at hand at the end of a busy day or for dinner with friends. Great value for money too! They have a website & offer an order over the phone & delivery service or you can order & collect in person.
Also available from local farmshops & wholefood shops, incl. Quex Barn in Birchington.
