Fantastic customer service and boxes were always delivered on time and left in the appropriate spot. However, I always found the contents of the box a little bit lacking in terms of cost - I don't think the box is very good value for money. Although the quality of the fruit/veg was usually ok, there was usually about one dodgy item per box on average. It's a shame, I would really like to rate Grow Wild higher but couldn't justify it:(
I absolutely love this market - by far the best one I've ever been to. A fantastic range of products:local rapeseed oil, herbal soaps, fruit liquers; a potato crisp stall (cooked to order!); stoats porridge bar; a hog roast as well as the usual meat, veg and dairy products. Just brilliant. Only downside: its very, very easy to spend an absolute fortune so my advice is to make a budget and stick to it! This produce is more expensive than your supermarket groceries but 99% of the time the quality justifies the extra cost.
Visiting Craigie's is a perfect way to spend a summer's day - set in beautiful countryside and the raspberries have to be tasted to be believed! The variety Craigie's grow are in polytunnels - so great for the average Scottish summer day;) - and the canes magically don't have any prickles. I made the most luscious jam of my life following a visit to Craigie's and would will be visiting often, especially since its within cycling distance to me! Smiles all round:)
