I visited Manydown Farm Shop today after visiting their website on many occasions. As it was Valentines, I wanted to have someting a little special on the evenings dinner plate.

I ventured down (not really knowing where it was to be truthful) and found it on my way to Oakley. I was greeted by 4 smiley, laughing faces. A pleasure to walk in there! There is a vast array of goods to purchase from pickles, jams, sauces and dressings, to their own Apple Juice.

Then you see the chiller cabinets and the vast array of pies and pastries as well as their wonderous selection of meats and produce.

I asked for advice on something light and a gentleman kindly prepared some escalopes for me there and then! I asked for advice on how to cook it and it was free flowing!

If you are new to farm shop purchasing - you will be welcomed with open arms - if you are an old timer you will be recognised and welcomed warmly too! I noticed this in the shop and I was only there for 20 minutes.

I will definately be going back to try their sausages and delights and may even make it a weekly occurance!

WELL DONE to the Manydown Staff - it was a pleasure to visit! I noticed they were extending so this is such good news - MORE choice - I will be back - as Arnie says!

Natalie (The one who needed a bib!).
