Large organic shop with a range of groceries and green gorceries including home grown fruit and veg, wine, beer and cleaning products. They sell a range of organic gardening products including a very large selection of seeds. They also have a nice cafe and an excellent restaurant. There is an admission fee to see the gardens but access to the shop, cafe and restartant is free.
Just started using them again. The reason I stopped was because you never quite new what would be in the box and I like to menu plan. Now you can make up your own box rather than having to order a standard one. The quallity of the produce is (still) excellent.
Excellent butcher, fabulous cheeses, deli and anti-pasti. Sell locally produced free-range eggs. Also stock some very good coffee and interesting wines. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly too.
Likes: Good food, good wine, good company. Not necessarily in that order
Dislikes: Anything which is more appearance than substance. Reading that back, it sounds rather pretentious which is a bit of an oxymoron really. %-|
