This is a stunning shop, it is like a traditional grocers with local fruit and veg crossed with the best deli ever. The quality of the food is second to none, they try really hard to source organic produce and have won a number of awards including best rural retailer. It is family run and owned, they go out of their way to be helpful. They deserve all of the success they get, the cheese and cured meats are really special. Enough words, just visit it and you will see what I mean.

This is an independently owned gem that has had a loyal following in Manchester for years. They now have three shops in total. They champion local produce and do brilliant monthly campaigns for all sorts of things like Welsh cheeses or Lanacshire black pudding. they have bistro and curry nights as well as promoting wines and beers. The staff are verey committed, call in for anyting from coffee to dinner, sandwich to a three course meal. Great wines and beers too. They sell ethical shopping bags and go teh extra mile. We love them, they always save the day!!

This is an independently owned shop that deserves your support. Jon and his staff sells masses of local produce as well as specialities from far afield. There are no hidden nasties like battery eggs or broiler chicken here. Needless to say the wine selection is peerless and there are loads of goodies to go with it. Skip Oddbins this week and try a shop that will try hard for you.
