Even though it was pouring with rain when I first went, this place was truly wonderful. I bought a xmas tree and a newfoundland dog pulled it on a trailer to my car. Very xmassy!

But in summer it is even better, and to eat outside al fresco, the stunning food, was a real treat. There is such a lot to choose from and always a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The shops are well stocked with excellent quality unusual items, i could go on and on and on!!

If you go here, you will spend a fortune,....not because it is expensive, but because there is so much to tempt you, and you just won't be able to go home empty handed!!

Have fun.

I love Longwood. As it says itself, it has been around a long long time, and I discovered it when there were not many places to buy organic food at all. It was like discovering a little gem!
I was finally able to buy organic fresh and delicious food, direct from the farm, which was and still is, a god send.
When my children were little, we'd drive over to Tuddenham, past the pond and down the bumpy track, to the farm. My kids loved it, as they were allowed to see the animals there too. The little baby piglets scurrying around in their shady forest pens, and the lambs in the spring. It was always very difficult to encourage the boys away from the farm and into the shop!
Once inside the shop, there is always something new to discover, wether it is a new cheese, or a new chocolate, they sell evrything. But I think the meat and fresh produce is the talking point of Longwood Farm.
Another good point to add is that if you want something that doesn't appear to be on sale, the staff at Longwood will try their best to get hold of it for you, or at least know someone who does sell it!
The staff are very friendly and knowledgable too.

It is well worth a visit.
