Abel & Cole deliver ethically-sourced organic food to your door. Our range includes fresh fruit and veg from small independent growers, British organic meat, dairy, bread, wine, sustainably-sourced fish and much more! Delivery is free of charge.
We work with over 60 British farms, including many who would be too small to have their own box schemes, buying as much British fruit and veg as the season provides. At the peak of the British harvest, that means almost everything is British. When UK farms aren’t harvesting, and for things we can’t get here (like olive oil and bananas), we go abroad. Our principles remain the same: we work directly and fairly with producers, stay as close to the UK as possible and never air freight. Produce is then packed centrally in Hampshire and distributed from our regional depots in our biodiesel vans.
I have been using Abel and Cole for about a year now, The meat is very tasty and the small veg and fruit boxes are well priced, its not just organic meat and veggies, but you can also top up with laundry and cleaning products and some toiletries, you can even buy wine, beer and cider and fill your larder cupboard up. In fact you can probably do your whole weekly shop with them. I also like the fact that they deliver in cardboard boxes and cool boxes and then pick them up with your next delivery and reuse them.
