Arkenfield Farm Meats supply home produced and locally sourced Beef, Lamb, Pork and Free Range Eggs to Restaurants and direct to the public. All our beef is hung traditionally, on the bone for 28 days for extra tenderness and flavour. As well as attending various food festivals, We have a stall on Mold Market every Wednesday and Saturday. Meat is also available from Costcutters, Colwyn Heights, Colwyn Bay and Costcutters, West Shore, Llandudno. We also do home deliveries. We have a purpose built unit opening in Ruthin soon and are continually adding new outlets, making our produce more readily available. We are planning to start rearing free range chickens in the coming weeks.
On returning home to Kent from my summer teaching in North Wales I decided to stop off at the Arkenfield Meats stall in Mold and came home to the family BBQ with beef burgers and lamb sausages. Not only had they travelled really well but they also tasted delicious.
I would strongly recommend Arkenfield meats to my friends and family.
After reading bizzy Lizzy's review, i decided to make the trip over to mold for the saturday market and seek out Arkenfield. Everything she said was right, they're tucked away on the pedestrianised bit (not the main street), staff were polite, knowledgable and passionate about what they do and having, got my shopping home and eaten the food the quality is excellent. I opted for the home cured bacon and as recommended, the pork sausage (true about the get there early bit - I had the last pack at 11.30!) and a couple of rib-eye steaks. The quality was excellent, the only thing I would correct from bizzylizzy's review is that the prices are not just on a par with the supermarkets, some are actually cheaper! I also bought a dozen large free range eggs which cost about 50p less than in the supermarket! To arkenfield I'd say keep up the good work folks and I'll be back soon. To everyone else, what are you waiting for!
I found the Arkenfield Farm Meats stall on Mold market after a friend recommended them to me. They're a bit hidden away so you have to seek them out but its definately worth it. Steaks are excellent, pork sausage to die for! but get there early they sell out fast. Friendly, knowledgable staff could answer my questions with a real passion for what they do. Prices on a par with the supermarkets was a pleasant suprise too.
I would recommend Arkenfield to everyone!
