Birchgrove Eggs is a family run business supplying free-range eggs to a wide range of customers in Wales. The free-range eggs are produced in un-spoilt countryside in Mid-Wales, Nr Aberystwyth. Birchgrove Eggs have been in operation for over thirty years.
Our eggs are fully accredited to the RSPCA freedom food scheme, which ensure the highest standards of both welfare and production methods are maintained. All hens are fully inoculated against Salmonellae. The hens are fed on high quality, G.M. free feed and the green grass of Wales. Birchgrove eggs have a full HACCP policy, and all staff involved in both free-range egg production and delivery have attained Food Handling accreditation 100/1539/5.
Brilliant eggs! Always great service at the Farmers' Market, with time to chat properly and tell you anything you want to know about their chickens and eggs. The eggs themselves are delicious - big, tasty orange yolks lovely for sunday morning boiled eggs. I can't praise these people enough.
