I discovered this brilliant company a few months ago. Wanting to support local businesses and conscious of my young family's needs I need convenience, reliablity and good quality. Bowdens takes care of it all! I especially appreciate the personal touch, whether at delivery time or on the end of a phone it's nice to talk. They listen and I recieve. I would thoroughly recommend them to all.

Fresh local-food and products from local businesses available at one on-line Farm-shop, all delivered with great care, to your home. It doesn't get any better than that. :)

Bringing the best of local Dorset food to your door is a service much needed in these days of supermarket mistrust. I like to know where and who has produced my food and wha website that shows a photo of the producer, tells me where they operate and is transparent about their products is so refreshing.
Although I am not an organic supporter for organic sake - the big advantage is that you know no one has messed with your food - added some chemical here and there...

BowdensLocal have a wonderfully easy to use website full of local Dorset food (and some from a bit further a field).
Whether it be fresh fish caught off the South West coast, Long Horn Beef from the Bride Valley or the delicous deep filled pies from Bridport all their produce fires your enthusiasm for eating.
