BRITISH DELI OF THE YEAR Possibly one of the smallest delis we visited – but almost faultless – and so much part of the community we saw people coming in who hardly needed to tell staff what they wanted – ‘I’ll have my usual’.
The Cheese Hamlet is absolutely superb. Crammed with every cheese imaginable - Try the Old Amstadam Mature Gouda - Its marvelous! You will also find speciality coffee beans, italian pastas, chutney and preserves, cakes and biscuits - the list goes on........ And for anyone looking for a great gift there are some beautiful cheese knives, olive wood cheese boards and coffee pots. The Cheese Hamlet really is worth a visit and definately deserves it's "Deli of the Year" award.
