The Cumbrian Goat Experience is a traditional lakeland farm with a unique twist 'The Goat'.

Set in over 150 acres of true lakedland beauty surrounded by spectacular mountains and scenery, in the heart of Wasdale one of the most beautiful areas in the country, and recently won ITV's Britain's Favourite View series.

Woodhow Farm is privately owned and has existed since 1757 and now is the home to over 200 native and rare breeds of Goat with at at least 2 of every breed of British Goat.

Here on the farm we naturally rear and breed a true lakeland Boer Goat providing the finest goat meat in the lakes. Supplying to many Hotels and Restaurants throughout the Lakes and beyond.

With recipies available by our very own award winning chef Richard so you can get the Best from your Goat.

At our Goat Lakeland attraction you can come and see the different goats or even stay for longer at one of our Pituresque Holiday Cottages and purchase the delights of goat.
