Duchy Home Farm is the home farm to the Duchy of Cornwall, part of HRH The Prince of Wales's estates. The farm runs a small vegetable box scheme supplying their own fresh, seasonal, organic produce to customers within a 10 mile radius of Tetbury. Customers can also add eggs, salads, fruit and a range of other products to their order.
I've been having the veg box for about 3 years and the quality is always excellent. Lots of traditional veg as well as more unusual varieties that aren't available elsewhere. The veg shed is now open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 8am-5pm.
Along with its box scheme, the Duchy Home Farm runs stalls at the Stroud and Cirencester Farmers' Markets. They also sell directly from the the farm on Wednesdays (the VEG SHED is open from 8am to 5pm). Their organic vegetables are top quality, and along with traditional veg, they also offer unusual varieties which aren't commonly available elsewhere (e.g., I bought tomatillos from them in October). The staff are very friendly and helpful - I enjoyed swapping veg recipes with them at the VEG SHED.
Fordhall Farm - Market Drayton
Brought the family down for the day on their summer fayre, had a fantastic day out - lovely friendly group of volunteers and staff, really getting people involved in how the farm works and is run.
