All of our animals are raised outside and fed a natural diet roaming on the Dorset chalk hills on the North side of the beautiful Bride Valley. Our prize winning animals are matured slowly and naturally, to ensure uncompromised quality, flavour and succulence.
We visited this farm on a freezing cold, wet and nasty New Years Eve in 2006. It didnt look like they were open as they were gearing up for New Years Eve however they were really helpful, found us exactly what we wanted (a rare breed pig leg) and it was really reasonable. My brother in law has since cured the leg hanging it in a box in the garden for 9 months and it is the best tasting (almost Serrano type) ham I have tasted for a long time !! We will definitely go back !
Visiting this farm was a real treat, proper farm - with no frills. I received a really friendly welcome. Seeing the animals so well looked after and up close gave me the feel good factor. I have ordered hampers and meat from the website as gifts for friends. Each time the feedback from friends has been excellent all commenting on the amazing quality of the meat and cheese. A real find, good quality meat & cheese from a proper farm!
