Elveden Estate Shops welcomes visitors to peruse our wonderful selection of local ambient and fresh products.
We stock fresh fruit and vegetables – including potatoes, onions, parsnips and carrots from the Estate; fresh meat in our butchery counter – including game and pork from the Estate; cheese in our deli counter and fresh fish. Freshly baked bread is also available daily.
Did you know that we also have a wide range of Elveden Own Label products to purchase from the shop including Honey, Chutneys, Cakes, Cookie Dough, Wines and chocolate?
A lovely place to shop for food, drink and gifts. A very wide selection of goodies, including frozen 'ready meals' of the finest quality. The flavoured oils and vinegars are also delicious. Regular foodie evenings are held here, including a pudding night! The courtyard is a nice place for lunch in the summer, where there is often barbecued food on sale aswell as the usual menu. Locally brewed Elveden Estate beer is also very good. In general, fantastic!
Although i found this Shop very expensive i must say all the items are worth every penny. From infused olive oils to hand made chocolate and a supreb Cafe. Their Fresh meat counter has some amazing meats available, a great selection of fine wines, fresh veg and fruit and a large amount of frozen meats including Game are also available in the shop.
One of the best points in the same estate is a Kitchen Shop which stock some great kitchen gadgets and cookware. It also has ranges from basic and cheap to high quality lines.
I always enjoy a trip to elverden estate and will allways have good things to say about this place! Great Food, Freindly polite staff all in a beautiful setting.
Even though it was pouring with rain when I first went, this place was truly wonderful. I bought a xmas tree and a newfoundland dog pulled it on a trailer to my car. Very xmassy!
But in summer it is even better, and to eat outside al fresco, the stunning food, was a real treat. There is such a lot to choose from and always a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The shops are well stocked with excellent quality unusual items, i could go on and on and on!!
If you go here, you will spend a fortune,....not because it is expensive, but because there is so much to tempt you, and you just won't be able to go home empty handed!!
