Ian Middlehurst provides a great range of quality fresh fish. established in 1971 Evans of Didsbury only stocks the finest seafood from around the UK, including scallops, langoustines and pollack from Scotland, or mackerel, dover soles and john dory from the Cornish coast.
Highly recommended, this is one of the best fishmonger/butcher/grocers I have been to in a while, the staff are lovely and friendly and their produce is first rate.
This is a fab fishmongers based in Didsbury - they do amazing fresh fish, exciting gamey stuff (too exciting for me to try as yet!), in addition to lots of lovely veggies and the tastiest free range eggs I've ever had. Highly recommend it, the staff have always been very friendly too, and do the scary stuff like filleting/skinning the fish for you too.
2 Fore Street - Mousehole
We had lunch there on Saturday - it was delicious, affordable and very friendly - produce was local - the seafood was excellent! A definite lunchtime stop if, like us, your kids make you visit Mousehole to find Mowser! (which we did!).
