The traditional method of mixed farming at Lux Farm includes growing wheat, barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet and potatoes whilst also producing top quality beef from our herd of Belted Galloway cattle, premium lamb from our flock of Balwen Welsh Mountain sheep, eggs from free range chickens and, in time for Christmas oven ready geese from our small Embden flock.
All our livestock thrive grazing naturally outside, during the winter we feed our own farm produced forage, with only a small amount of supplementary feeding of GM free UK produced feed.
