We are a social enterprise working to create a more sustainable re-localised food system through our projects which provide practical alternatives to the damaging food system that currently exists.
I shop every week at their excellent Organic Farmers Market. There are regular stalls and occasional stalls and events. It is great being able to buy directly from the farmers and it is a lively, friendly market with very good choice - proof that you can eat healthily, sustainably and locally.
Superb provider of good, local and sustainable food to Hackney. Consistently high quality fruit and veg, mostly from local growers, including Growing Communities' own sites in Hackney. Our 3 year-old daughter loves the Hackney-grown cape gooseberries!
