We are situated in the beautiful Dorset town of Bridport, we are open 6 days a week from 8.30am - 5.30pm, all our customers are guaranteed a warm welcome. We stock a large variety of both local and international cheeses, along with local hams, pates and not so local salamis. The majority of our products are from the West Country for which we are very proud. Our new deli cafe is also proving a hit with our customers, serving local cheeses, hams, soups and more. Jaxsons Deli is a really great cheese shop. It keeps french cheeses but often there is a local or west country equivalent which is even better and they sell it. Also look out for their baked cakes which are really unusual. Why buy things from abroard when the local choice is so great?
Love it. The shop/cafe has a good feel as you walk in and you feel the urge to browse. Great emphasis on 'local' produce. Big selection of cheeses, which you can always try before you buy. Lots of other goodies and ethical gifts too. Everyone gets a warm welcome and they always working to increase their stock of locally-produced food. Try their home-made hummus, or (if you pick the right day) hazelnut torte........to die for....mmmm. You'll have to be quick though, it doesn't last long!
Very handy being in the middle of town, and their shop and cafe is never empty - they must be getting it right!
