This family run farm shop describes itself as being a "Purveyor of home reared free range beef, pork and local reared lamb". It is a lovely shop and everybody who works there is enthusiastic and friendly.
I have been visiting this farm shop since late 2006, and it is my first choice for beef, pork and lamb. I often call ahead as there isn't always a full stock of every cut, but I rather like it this way personally! I have had many a long conversation about farming (and all manner of other topics!) with the wife and husband who own and run the shop, and find their approach to it all admirable.
They also stock a good range of veg, mainly local and some grown by relatives etc. Doesn't have a huge selection of extras as other 'farm shops' tend to, but it is a true farm shop as opposed to a gourmet food outlet!
