This butchers is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about food, with a true ability to understand your needs and make recommendations about concept, cut, and cookery technique. Excellent quality in terms of both product and customer service

The only problem with M Feller is that they don't do mail order. They do sell the best bacon in the world - properly dry-cured, thick, intensively flavoured and not wilting or flabby at all. It's worth a visit for that alone, but everything else I've bought from there has been similarly perfect. It's not the most convenient place to buy from if you don't live in Oxford (which sadly I no longer do), but you won't find better quality meat anywhere else in the UK (believe me, I've tried). If you can get there, try the black and white puddings too. Divine!
