We opened on July 4th 1979 in Neal's Yard in Covent Garden. At the time, Neal's Yard Dairy was owned by Nicholas Saunders, who had already started a bakery and wholefoods warehouse in the yard and Monmouth Coffee Company on Monmouth Street.
Superb shop, selling British cheeses, excellent bread, milk, eggs, olive oils, jams etc. It's staffed by fantastic people, who are always willing to share their knowledge and encourage customers to try new cheeses. Highlights are the Colston Basset stilton, the parmesan and the massive range of fresh bread.
Abel & Cole - Leigh
I have been using Abel and Cole for about a year now, The meat is very tasty and the small veg and fruit boxes are well priced, its not just organic meat and veggies, but you can also top up with laundry and cleaning products and some toiletries, you can even buy wine, beer and cider and fill your larder cupboard up.
