Just seen that photo - I have not been to Otello food hall before. And obviously I can't be 100% sure that photo was taken there. But assuming it was, I would send it back if it was served at a Little Chef! Let alone a foodie Hove haunt. Just missing the powdered egg (scrambled)! I hope they improve service or with the current climate, there is no way people will choose to eat there.

Just had breakfast there, it was ok apart from the dry cold toast and burnt mushrooms & black pudding, the last time I had the 'full english' I got a vine of tomatoes, this time one tomato cut in half and the bubble & squeak portion was so small that I almost missed it.

This place started off well but has gone downhill, the manageress who took my plate looked embarrassed as she looked at what I left and how awful it looked, she didn't offer any compensation mind you the last time I had a coffee and 1 piece of baklava in there she charged me £2.99 for the baklava and thats one piece.

I will never ever go back in this place, it really is a disgrace.

Here is a picture of what the mushrooms and black pudding look like taken on my phone.

Would you eat this?

Too flashy and well polished for me. Pricey too. Its a nice concept but not for me.

Amazing to look at and a strong push on locally sourced, seasonal and organic produce, which you can buy to take away or sample in the cafe.
