Situated right in the centre of a medieval tourist hotspot, Pallant of Arundel has all the standard middle class fayre you'd expect (Duchy originals, Innocent, Green and Blacks, swanky pasta etc). But it outshines most posh delis, in that it also stocks more unusual foods that are a delight to discover. In addition, and more importantly, this shop has a proper fresh deli, and genuinely freshly baked goodies, which are rustic, totally delicious and often quite original - and all at a very reasonable price. Which is truly amazing for Arundel. The more you look, there more you wonder how they fit it all in. Pallant's is joy to explore.
