Pang Valley Organics is a family run organic dairy farm based principally at Eling Farm, Hermitage, Berkshire. In our Farm Shop we sell frozen beef, lamb and chicken all raised on our organic farm. All our beef calves from the grass-fed dairy herd are raised on Elm Farm at Hamstead Marshall. We use a local butcher who hangs the meat for three weeks to allow it to mature giving it excellent colour, flavour and texture. Our chickens roam freely until they are three months old, this gives good density to the meat.
We also distribute organic fruit and vegetable boxes from the Laverstoke estate.
Farm Shop open Wednesday 10am - 1pm, Friday and Saturday 9am - 1pm. If you would like to call at other times, please 'phone to make arrangements.
All their meats are brilliant, to the highest standard, All vegetables would last the week if you can resist to then. Anne and Brian make you very welcome and if they have not got what you want they will try and get it for you. All produce is locally sourced where possible. Good advise given on how to cook the produce if you dont know how. Recomend all meats. Have a go and try the buffalow meat, if you like beef you will love this.
