Located on the landmark Clock Tower at the junction of North Street, Queen’s Road, West Street and Dyke Road, this well-loved pub has recently reopened, entirely refurbished, after a four-year closure. Bounded by four of the busiest roads in the city, the Quadrant is a busy stop-off for people moving between all the major destinations in Brighton and Hove. Catering for all with the new outside seating area, weekly quiz and live acoustic music from some of Brighton’s up and coming talents, the Quadrant is a rare find. Lovers of old-style vertical drinking in an old style public house will not be disappointed - the bar itself is listed and the rest of the décor follows its style, making The Quadrant the best-looking pub the town centre has to offer. A vast selection of real ale and a warm welcome, along with a delicious, vibrant home cooked food menu, makes the Quadrant well worth a visit.

big comfy sofas and a nice local pint are the reason for heading there of an evening, and big patio garden with lots of tables, big protions and the exitement of the trains stopping at the station over the wall are the reasons to head there for a nice lunch with the smalls.

Rated as: Excellent
