Woodcock Butchers is the best in the area and I think there would be many others that would agree. We have been getting our meat and many other products from Woodcocks for some years now. We are a couple with two young children and I feel re-assured that all of Woodcocks meat is locally sourced and many of the other things sold in the shop are too. In this day and age it's just so nice to know that you are feeding your kids nice fresh goods. As many of the younger generation I am sometimes a little unsure of what cuts of meat to buy or how much to buy for that matter, but all of the staff are friendly and willing to offer advice as best as they can. All told I will be using them for many more years to come.

we have our meat from woodcocks butchers since richard took over in the early 1980s there sausages take some beating my wife an I always get all our christmas meats from them. there home made sausage rolls pork pies haslets are lovely all in all they are a well know family butchers that make you feel welcome kieron lizzie

I dont live very close to Woodcocks Butchers however when I am in the area I like to stock up as its the best butchers I know.
I had a wonderful Turkey from them this year and will be shopping there for many more years to come!

I have to be honest and say I think Woodcock's butchers is probably one of the best butchers in this area.
We have been using Woodcocks for many years now for all all our meat, be it sausages or burgers, joints to xmas turkeys, and have always found it to be top quality and at a good price. An added bonus ls the consistant friendly service, we are always met with a smile whether we have our meat delivered or we collect. Every now and then when we have company who like a particular cut or type of meat, Richard is always happy to accomadate and sort something special out for us.

So to sum up Woodcock's provide 5 star produce with 5 star service, and long may it be so.
